A 24/7 city-edge ultra: Vienna’s greenbelt looped into a gritty, urban-to-forest endurance test.

Wien Rundumadum 130 km is a loop ultra tracing the official Rundumadum trail around the entire city of Vienna, Austria, starting at 05:30 on November 7, 2026, from Sportcenter Donaucity. The course follows 24 stages through Vienna's greenbelt — forests, hills, vineyards, canals, and parks — covering 130 km with 1,880 m of gain (~14.5 m/km). Distance-weighted average gradients are 8.14% uphill and 6.92% downhill; only 2 km sits above 20% incline. Entry costs €130 base (€150 from June 6) plus a mandatory GPS tracker rental of €15 cash at check-in — €1.00/km at the base rate. Vienna VIE is 23 minutes away. A 25-hour time limit, all 24 stage checkpoints accessible by public transport, and a relay option (2–6 runners) make this the most logistically forgiving 130km in Europe. Not sold out. Founded 2014 by Verein Mehrkampf Team Austria; ~48 finishers 2025.
