Trail Menorca Camí de Cavalls 85km (TMCS) is the 52nd flattest ultra in the DiscoverTrailRaces database of 390 European trail races — 85km of point-to-point coastal running along Menorca's southern Camí de Cavalls with just 1,200m of ascent. Starting from Es Castell and finishing in the medieval city of Ciutadella, the route crosses a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve island, tracing an ancient coastal patrol path where every headland reveals the next cove. The biggest single descent drops just 60m; the biggest single climb rises just 75m.
Average uphill gradient ranks in the gentlest 10% of the 390-race database — this is a race defined by sustained effort across 85km of coastal terrain, not by elevation. Entry was €140 for 2026, with a late fee of €155 after 1 April; the race closes before or on its April registration deadline. First held in 2012, the 2026 edition was the 14th. Race departs Es Castell at 06:30 on 2 May with an 18-hour maximum time limit. Registration for 2027 opens 5 September 2026.
