Trail de Conímbriga Terras de Sicó 177.5km (111 Milhas Terras de Sicó) is a trail ultra in its 18th edition to be held in February of 2027 in central Portugal. The 111-mile race will start at 8:00 AM on February 26, 2027. Previous editions however, have run in the summertime, such as the June 2026 edition.
The 177.5km race starts in Condeixa-a-Nova — adjacent to the Roman ruins of Conímbriga — and traverses six municipalities through karst limestone terrain, forest paths, and cave-formed trails. The course covers 177.5km with 6,193m of gain (34.9 m/km) with a 40h30m cutoff.
A runner who completed the shorter Ultra Sicó distance captured the race character: 'Sicó is a treacherous race. Anyone who only looks at the D+/km ratio doesn't understand the difficulty.' A 21.0 km section averaging just 1.3% uphill gradient from km 53 illustrates the point — invisible on elevation charts, decisive in runtime. Average uphill 11.3% and downhill −11% are both estimated borderline top 25% of the database. Entry is €0.65/km (€115 late-window rate) and finishers qualify for the Western States 100 2027 lottery.
