483km From the Mountains to the Sea -- What TRAILCAT The Race Is
Q: What is TRAILCAT The Race? A: TRAILCAT The Race is a non-stop point-to-point ultra running 482.80km from Andorra la Vella to the Mediterranean coast at Tarragona, Catalonia. With 16,000m D+ and a 152-hour time limit, the 2026 edition is the fifth and has been described as the longest non-stop mountain race in Spain. The course is partially unmarked -- runners navigate by GPS in multiple sections -- and has only three life bases across the full distance. It is part of the TORX Experience series.
Course Profile -- Three Life Bases, GPS Navigation, and 152 Hours
Q: How hard is TRAILCAT The Race? A: Extremely demanding. The 2025 edition (a different 318km course) saw approximately 49 finishers from a field of around 150 -- a DNF rate estimated near 67% . The 2025 race also featured 72 continuous hours of rain and flooded trails. Sleep management, GPS navigation, and multi-day weather exposure are as defining as physical fitness. This is not a supported stage race: runners manage their own pacing, sleep, and logistics between three life bases across 483km.
400 EUR and 60 Spots -- Already Sold Out
