TRAILCAT The Race is a 482.8 km non-stop point-to-point ultra running from the high-altitude capital of Andorra la Vella to the Mediterranean coast at Tarragona, Catalonia. The course gains 16,000m D+ and 17,000m D- across the Pyrenean massif and Catalan pre-coastal ranges, with a 152-hour time limit across 7 days (October 11-17, 2026). Part of the TORX Experience series, the 2026 edition is the fifth, and organisers have described it as the longest non-stop mountain race in Spain.
TRAILCAT The Race is non-staged and partially unmarked: runners navigate by GPS across multiple sections and must carry navigation technology throughout. Only three life bases exist across the full 482.8 km -- beyond these, aid station infrastructure is minimal. Sleep management, self-navigation, and multi-day weather exposure are as defining as physical fitness. The 2025 edition (a different 318km course) saw relentless rain for 72 continuous hours.

Shorter distances -- a 50M (~78-82km) and 25M (~38-40km) starting from Tarragona on October 17 -- may have available places.

All require a car -- mountain passes into Andorra make public transport slow and impractical. Most runners drive or arrange a private transfer. The finish in Tarragona is well-connected to Barcelona by train, simplifying the return journey.
