Public transport is excellent: Line 12 from Linz main station runs directly to the Tabakfabrik. Linz airport (LNZ) is approximately 20 minutes away; Vienna (VIE) is 2–2.5 hours by train or car.
Mandatory kit for the LINZ75 includes: headlamp with minimum 500 lumen output, first aid kit with space blanket, reflective gear (for dark sections), own drinking cup/flask, rucksack with food and drink, fully charged phone, and a powerbank.
