From Budapest city centre the start area is 20-50 minutes by suburban rail (HEV) or bus -- exceptional public transport for a trail ultra. Budapest has abundant accommodation at all price points. The area also includes the historic town of Szentendre and Visegrad castle.

The 2026 edition sold out with medium sell-out intensity; registration is now closed as the race ran on May 24, 2026. UTH (Ultra Trail Hungary) has been running since 2018 and is Hungary's flagship trail running festival in the Pilis Hills north of Budapest.
